General Questions

·         What is eAlert?
eAlert is a voluntary subscription service that allows subscribers to receive electronic notifications Bemus Point school emergencies and school closings.

·         How much does eAlert cost?
eAlert is a free service offered by Bemus Point School District. Depending on your Internet service provider or cellular phone plan, additional per-message charges may be assessed by your carrier.

·         What type of devices will eAlert send messages to?
eAlert can send messages to any device that has an e-mail address or receives text messages. This includes desk-top computers, pagers, cellular phones, personal digital assistants (PDA's), or other such devices.

·         Can I have eAlert contact me by phone?
Yes. eAlert allows text to voice capability for up to one phone number. 

Subscription Questions

·         How do I subscribe to eAlert?
Use the Subscribe page and complete the necessary fields.

·         I subscribed, but I entered the wrong e-mail address. What should I do now?
Re-subscribe with the correct e-mail address. The incorrect e-mail address will automatically be deleted from the system.

·         My e-mail address has changed. What can I do to continue to receive LionsAlert?
Use the Account Management page to change your email address.

·         How do I unsubscribe from eAlert?
Use the Account Management page. Log in with your user ID and password, then scroll to the bottom to unsubscribe.
